India Rents (indiarents.info) is an anonymous rent transparency map. We are operated as an independent product. For privacy enquiries, contact us at privacy@indiarents.info.
When you sign in with Google to submit a rent pin, we receive from your Google profile:
We do not collect your phone number, profile picture URL, or any other Google profile data.
Rent data you submit (locality, BHK type, rent amount, furnishing, area) is stored publicly and attributed as "Submitted anonymously" — your name and email are never shown alongside your pins.
We process your personal data on the basis of your freely given, informed consent provided at the time of Google Sign-In, in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).
Your data is stored on Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure). Supabase acts as a data processor on our behalf. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.
We retain your account data for as long as your account exists. Rent pins you submit remain on the map unless you request deletion. You may request deletion at any time (see Your Rights below).
